Phase Shifters
Phase shifters are widely employed in radar systems based on phasedantenna arrays. MEMS technology offers much lower insertion loss, higher linearity over a large bandwidth and lower power consumption as compared to solid-state technology. Ferrite-basedphase shifters have good performance, but cannot be easily integrated and are more expensive in fabrication as compared to MEMS technology.
